As you well know we have been evaluating expressions in Math class. We use the order of operations to get the right answer.

The acronym P.E.M.D.A.S. reminds us what to do first, second and so on.

P.E.M.D.A.S. tells us to solve what’s in the Parenthesis first, then the Exponents. After that, we Multiply, Divide, Add, and Subtract.

Today you will combine your math, language and creativity skills to write a new sentence to be represented by the acronym P.E.M.D.A.S.

For example: Pirates Exit Most Doors At Sunset.

Your sentence must meet the following criteria:
* Six word sentence- one word for each letter
* You cannot use any of the words from either example
* Should make sense ( it can be a little silly)

You will work with a partner to create your sentence.
* One of you will comment by typing your sentence on the classroom blog.
* The other one will record the sentence on a podcast and post it our classroom blog.         http://ipadio.com/

* You have seven minutes to complete this assignment.

If time allows, we will critique each other’s sentences.
